plays in the muscle-building process. GH itself is important for burning fat, which helps a bodybuilder develop definition and, of course, helps with energy. 

But the importance as it relates to building muscle  comes from the substance IGF-1 (insulin-like growth factor 1). Most IGF-1 is produced in the liver from a direct response to the release of growth hormone from the pituitary gland in the brain. IGF-1 is essential for the creation of any tissue in the body and muscle is no exception. Testosterone and IGF-1 work in unison to create muscle tissue. No testosterone, no muscle. No IGF-1, no muscle.
Not enough GH, not enough IGF-1 to satisfy the demand that working out creates.

The more the amount of GH that is released, the more the amount of IGF-1 that is produced.

Bodybuilders under around 45 need to take 4 capsules of GH-Elite 1 to 2 hours before a workout. Between 45 and 55 GH-Elite can be taken before a workout or at bedtime following anti-aging dosage. After 55 it's probably best to take it before bedtime. However, the very best way for someone over 45 would be to take it before a workout(3 capsules) and also at bedtime(3 capsules).
